We prepare our students to solve societal issues, to understand and address problems facing our justice and legal infrastructures, to be informed and participate in politics and analyze economic trends in our society and around the globe.

Dean's Message

Welcome to Auburn University at Montgomery’s College of Public Policy and Justice.  On behalf of the faculty and staff, I want to thank you for visiting our site.

The goal for our College is to teach, educate, and engage the students in order to help them address the issues that matter on a daily basis and that change our lives forever. Currently, we have five departments in our college, namely the Departments of Economics, Criminal Justice, Political Science and Public Administration, Sociology, and ROTC. These departments teach our students to analyze issues pertaining to society’s economic well-being, to debate and address problems facing our justice and legal infrastructures, to be informed and participate in the current political scene, and to solve critical questions in our society in general.

We strive to do our best and we know we can accomplish this. We may not be there yet, but we are well on our way. Our College orientation and mission evolves around students. We are about teaching practical matters and offering sensible solutions.

My door is open to all prospective and current students. You are our number one priority. Hope to see you soon.
