AUM MPA Program Listed Among Top 100 Best Graduate Programs in Public Affairs
Congratulations to the AUM MPA Program which was listed among the top 100 Best Graduate Programs in Public Affairs according to the US News and World Report 2016 rankings. 

NEW! Master of Science in Applied Economics Graduate Program
The Master of Science in Applied Economics was approved by ACHE and is the newest graduate program for the AUM College of Public Policy and Justice! The MS in Applied Economics has options in Health Care Economics, the Economics of Government and Law, and
General Economics.

* Starting in Fall 2017, subject to the final approval by AUM’s regional accrediting body,  Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)

 

The Political Film Series
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration and the College of Public Policy and Justice invite you to join us for the Political Film Series. This event is made possible through a grant from the Ida Belle Young Special Projects Fund and is free and open to the public. Complimentary popcorn and soda will be served.

AUM Women's Soccer Team Presented Certificates of Honor to Selected College of Public Policy and Justice Faculty
Mr. Jeff Bates, Dr. Kim Brackett, Dr. Jim Francisco, Dr. Simon Lan, Dr. Carel Ligeon, Dr. Brad Moody, and Dr. Lisa Zanglin... were honored by the AUM Men's and Women's Soccer teams! Each team member was asked to nominate one faculty member that has had a significant impact in their academic success at AUM. The certificates of honor were presented on Thursday, October 22nd before the kickoff of each game. A big thank you to those who attended and cheered on our faculty and Warhawks!

Dr. Nicholas Howard, a specialist in American political institutions and political methodology, will be joining the Department of Political Science and Public Administration in fall 2016 as an assistant professor. Dr. Howard received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015, an M.A. in political science from the University of Kansas, and a B.A. in political science from Carleton College. During the 2015 - 2016 academic year, Dr. Howard will be in Washington, D.C. as an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow.
