Economics

The economics faculty at Auburn Montgomery play active roles as economists in the real world. From planning state budgets, analyzing the economic impact of natural and man-made disasters, to providing economic and humanitarian assistance overseas, AUM’s economists are renowned and trusted for their analysis and advice. Their experience will help you succeed in graduate programs, publish work in international journals, and engage with business and community leaders.

 

Justice and Public Safety

The faculty and staff of the Department of Justice and Public Safety bring forth a wealth of experience and knowledge to do an exemplary job of teaching in the fields of Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, and Organizational Leadership. 

Political Science and Public Administration

The Department of Political Science and Public Administration offers an undergraduate degree and several graduate degrees, including the only Ph.D. program at AUM. Its faculty members are experts in American politics, political psychology, comparative politics, international relations, and public administration.

Sociology, Anthropology and Geography

The faculty and staff of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Geography is one of the more diverse and versatile groups within the University, as they cover Geography, Sociology, Archeology, Anthropology, Pre-social work, and Geographic Information Systems. The faculty and staff are alumni from the University of Florida, Louisiana State University, the University of Alberta, the University of Tennessee and the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Army ROTC

The Auburn University at Montgomery Army Reserve Officer Training Corps focuses on preparing young men and women for the challenges leading today's Army. The staff in the department are committed to helping you develop confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills that will help you progress in your college studies.
